THE BEST (BANANA FREE) NICE CREAM RECIPE

Hey there, here's my first recipe post for this new blog and what better way to start than with a NiceCream recipe?

So after years of eating smoothie bowls and nicecream for breakfast I've experimented with a lot of different combos. I am a big fan of the classic frozen banana nice cream (I'm a big fan of bananas in general) but I know not everyone loves banana so here is an awesome alternative that's full of antioxidents, vitamin C, healthy fats and is so thick and creamy to taste.

In the summer time my family bought boxes of fresh ripe mango and froze them in ice cube trays for days like this. I encourage you to do the same in the summer time - the fruit is so much sweeter in season and it means you save money in the long run. If you haven't got freshly frozen mangos you can use the store bought ones too - try a few brands to see which ones freeze sweet mangos. If the mangos aren't sweet you can add a sweetner of choice but I prefer to get the natural sweetness from delicious fruit!

It's Winter here in the land down under, so for toppings I've opted for foods high in vitamin C and antioxidents to keep my immunity strong throughout this season - so far my energy levels and health have been incredible.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup frozen mango

1/2 cup frozen cherries

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 fresh avocado

1 tbsp peanut butter (use 100% peanuts)

1 tbsp LSA

Dash of coconut water (if necessary)

Toppings:

Kiwi Fruit

Mandarin

Blueberries

Coconut Chips

Method:

1. Blend all incredients in a high speed blender - add coconut water gradually to help with the blending process if necessary.

2. Add toppings and enjoy immediately!
